Full Story:

At first glance, Sri Hari Padmanabhan’s life sounds like a dream. He earns ₹13.2 lakh per year as a Technical Test Lead at Infosys. But behind that impressive title is a story of resilience, determination, and the will to start over—after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a progressive neurological condition that changed everything.

Sri Hari rebuilt his life with grit and support from Youth4Jobs. Today, he leads as a Technical Test Lead at Infosys.

Born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Sri Hari comes from a modest background. His father is a dhobi, and his mother is a homemaker. But what the family lacked in resources, they made up for in belief—and Sri Hari responded with hard work. Scoring 91% in his Class 12 exams, he went on to pursue a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from Kumaraguru College of Technology.

A self-confessed computer enthusiast, he spent his college years building projects and sharpening his programming skills. His goal? To join a Tier 1 tech company. That dream came true when he was hired by Robert Bosch GmbH. Over the next 8.5 years, he built a thriving career and was even based in Germany for most of it.

But in 2013, life took a drastic turn. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

The condition slowly impacted his mobility. From being a confident professional working abroad, Sri Hari found himself struggling to complete everyday tasks. It was a dark period—physically, emotionally, and professionally.

“There were days I felt I had lost everything I’d worked for,” he says.

That’s when Youth4Jobs Foundation came into his life. Through personalized counselling, confidence-building sessions, and career readiness support, the team helped Sri Hari reframe his journey—not as an end, but as a new beginning. With their support, he applied to Infosys and was hired as a Technical Test Lead with an annual salary of ₹13.2 lakh.

“Youth4Jobs didn’t just help me with job placement,” he says.
“They helped me believe in myself again.”

Today, Sri Hari is thriving—not just in his job, but in his mindset. His story is followed closely by Youth4Jobs trainers who stay in touch to track his growth and well-being. From a humble home in Coimbatore to a leadership role in one of India’s top tech firms, Sri Hari’s journey is a testament to what can happen when resilience meets the right opportunity.

His message is clear:
Disability may change the way you move—but not how far you can go.
