Assistive Technology is technology used by individuals with disabilities in order to perform functions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible. A diverse range of assistive technology is available today, providing the opportunity for nearly all people to access information technology (IT). However, an individual having proper assistive technology is no guarantee of having access as IT accessibility is dependent on accessible design. Youth4Jobs is a pioneer in promoting Assistive Technology and we are also working on the first “AI Triggered” accessible job platform. We also work with companies and sensitize them about accessible friendly Assistive Technologies. This helps the hired youth with disabilities to be productive and helps their business.

Investing in technology, particularly assistive tech, both has a transformative impact on people’s wellbeing and makes sound economic sense for funders and governments. It is the right thing and the smart thing to do.
Providing Assistive Technology to all who need it would considerably improve the quality of life for countless persons with disability. Whether it is a wheelchair, a prosthetic limb, a hearing aid or a pair of eyeglasses, these allow children to play, adults to work and travel, and can reduce loneliness and isolation. Over a billion people can live more social lives through access to the right assistive technology.
