The Helpline is present in 11 states which include the poorest states of India. The helpline offers support for the needy by providing:
Information and Updates, Counselling, helping stranded persons with disability return to their homes and helping them and doctors with Indian Sign Language interpretation
Y4J helped prepare and distribute safety masks and food worth over 10 lakhs across the country.The masks were stitched by vulnerable women entrepreneurs across the country and were distributed with the help of local government
Y4J created Corona Awareness Videos with information pertaining to precautions to be taken during the lockdown. The videos were widely circulated across social media, including by Hon’ble Minister of IT, K. T. Rama Rao, Karnataka govt and Hon’ble Minister of state for Home Affairs, Kishen Reddy. These videos have garnered over 12,000 all over India
Y4J launched employability courses for educated and less educated youth with disability. In two batches an amazing 1200 less educated youth enrolled through 60 different batches across the country. About 100 educated youth with disability are enrolled in our College Connect Program.
Y4J also conducted webinars for corporates.
The first virtual conference for educators was held in partnership with Wilson College, Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute For Financial And Management Studies, University of Mumbai on 15th and 16th May 2020
