Youth4Jobs (Y4J) partnered with Tata Motors to launch an Indian Sign Language (ISL) training program, engaging 56 employees. The session covered:

✅ Key ISL terminologies
✅ Etiquette for interacting with Deaf employees

Tata Motors Expands Opportunities for Deaf Candidates
Tata Motors is strengthening its commitment to hiring Sign Hearing Impaired (SHI) candidates. Beyond the existing apprenticeship program, the company is now:
🔹 Creating more roles for SHI employees
🔹 Enhancing ISL proficiency among the workforce
🔹 Conducting factory accessibility audits to improve inclusion
Advanced ISL Training & Workplace Accessibility Audit
After the initial session, Youth4Jobs conducted an advanced ISL workshop, focusing on:
✅ ISL grammar and sentence structure
✅ Deeper understanding of workplace communication
✅ On-site factory visit for accessibility insights
This visit allowed the team to assess the work environment and ensure seamless communication for SHI employees.
