From a Mud House in Bihar to HSBC: Manni’s Rise to Assistant Manager with ₹10 Lakh Salary

Summary

Born with a locomotor disability in rural Bihar, Manni’s early life was filled with struggles—climbing stairs, accessing education, and being seen beyond his disability. With the support of Youth4Jobs, he went from being jobless to becoming an Assistant Manager at HSBC, earning ₹10 lakh a year. His journey is not just about financial transformation—it’s about pride, purpose, and proving what’s possible.

Full Story:

In a small, backward village in  Bihar—where dusty roads, patchy electricity, and limited schooling are part of daily life—Manni was born with a 62% locomotor disability walking to school or climbing stairs—became steep challenges.

Manni, a young man with short black hair and a trimmed beard, is wearing a light blue shirt and looking into the camera indoors, with a blurred office background.

His parents worked as daily wage laborers and couldn’t afford to support his higher education. With help from relatives and well-wishers, Manni completed his graduation. But even after earning a degree, he struggled to find a job—many employers focused on his disability rather than his skills.

Manni came to know about Youth4Jobs for Job posting on Instagram and enquired to know center in Bihar and enrolled herself for training  There, he wasn’t seen as someone with a disability, but as someone with potential. He trained relentlessly, mastering communication, teamwork, and professionalism. More than a trainee, Manni became a mentor to others, inspiring his batchmates and even his trainers.

Then came his breakthrough.

Manni was selected by HSBC as an Audit Executive, earning ₹3 lakh per year. It was his first job—his first real shot at dignity. But Manni didn’t stop. Today, he is an Assistant Manager at HSBC, earning ₹10 lakh a year.

This isn’t just a number. This is a life transformed.

With his earnings, Manni bought a residential flat, a personal vehicle, and funded his own wedding. For a boy who once couldn’t imagine a dignified life, he now stands as a beacon of possibility.

“There was a time I couldn’t imagine having a career. Youth4Jobs believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. They gave me more than a job—they gave me purpose,” Manni reflects.

His story is a powerful reminder: talent exists everywhere—even in the remotest corners of Bihar. All it needs is the right opportunity.
