About the Artist

Akanksha Kamble, a deaf artist from Thane, Maharashtra, captured this photograph to shed light on the challenges persons with disabilities face in accessing quality education in India. Using her Sony A73, she participated in the Global Ability Photography Challenge to raise awareness and share her unique perspective.
