The Story behind the Shot:

Maria, a deaf photographer from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, captures the world in her unique way using a Nikon D750. Her photographs, featuring birds in the sky and a bee on a flower, symbolize freedom, progress, and the beauty of small moments. Maria was inspired to join the Global Ability Photography Challenge to show that deaf people can express themselves and share their perspective through photography. She believes contests like this are important because they give people with disabilities a platform to showcase their creativity, inspire others, and prove that art knows no limits.
