Venu Vinukoti | Disability - Person with Locomotor Disability | India

My Attitude Is My Ability

About the Picture

This powerful image captures resilience and self-belief. Against the bold words “I AM ABLE”, the photographer frames a man resting beside his wheelchair, draped with the word “INDIA”. The composition beautifully symbolizes strength beyond limitations — a quiet moment of reflection that speaks volumes about perseverance, identity, and the spirit of ability within disability.

About the Artist

Venu Vinukoti, a former international para-athlete and founder of Dhronacharya Para Sports Academy, is also a passionate photographer. A polio survivor with 90% disability, he has represented India in national camps organized by the Sports Authority of India and continues to inspire others through sports and creative expression.
