The WISE program is a pioneering empirically- proven short-term program to fill the knowledge and skill gaps that exist between the business and the rural community of people with disabilities. It establishes model training centers that provide youth with disabilities with employment-related job readiness training, personality development, and opportunities for sustainable employment. Post Covid, trainings are hybrid. Assistive devices& uniforms are given to all trainees. This training gives youth with disabilities their first window of opportunity. The transformational result is they become independent, confident and their family becomes poverty free.
Training: 10th standard onwards. Â
Our largest Donor since 2014 for Wise program is Axis Bank Foundation.Â
Regular weekly assessments and daily allied assignments based on the topics covered in the training for improved learning outcomes
To keep our youth with disabilities updated on the on-going trends in the market, we organise regular Guest lectures by Industry experts and corporate volunteers
Candidates enrolling in training program and completing the same with minimum mandatory attendance receive certificate of completion
Placement of trainees with disabilities in organised sector jobs is a key differentiator of our work. A dedicated team builds company networks in different industries continuously, to map job profiles for different disabilities. We follow a meticulous process:
To ensure there is retention and youth with disabilities are not dropping out from their first job, Youth4Jobs adopts a process whereby the Y4J trainers counsel and hand hold the alumni till they settle in their new work environment.
Youth4jobs began its work with the focus on employment – linked Skilling for Youth with disabilities through the WISE (Work Integrated Soft Skills and English) Program in 2012. The focus is to shift less educated youth with disabilities from the vicious cycle of poverty to the virtuous cycle of opportunity through organised sector jobs.
I would like to take this
opportunity to thank Youth4jobs for all the help and support we received while hiring candidates. These candidates in my opinion, are performing to the best of their ability with good availability rate, which will be extremely helpful during our Biggest sale of the year. I am grateful to have received this help, commitment and motivation from a responsible, well meaning employment centre. We wish Youth4Jobs all the best and look forward to have a continuous support rom them to meet our hiring needs.
When the world stopped and there was no hiring anywhere, Youth4Jobs gave me ray of hope and made me independent. Thank you Youth4Jobs for supporting candidates with disabilities and making us independent even in COVID-19 pandemic. My parents are very happy with the fact that I am able to support my family in such difficult times

Through training I not only learned new signs through interaction with my batch mates but also got know new people. Now I have more friends and I can communicate with them in Sign language. From training Igot know about various topics on how to prepare self for job and skills like grooming and saving my salary, which will help me support my family. Due to COVID-19 outbreak my father lost his job and now I support my salary through my earnings because of which everyone at home is very proud of me.
