The Story behind the Shot:
Lucia, from a small town in Slovakia, uses a wheelchair and has a deep passion for photography. Her photograph, captured with a digital camera after a storm in the mountains, symbolizes solitude, strength, and hope to move forward. Lucia has loved photography since childhood, and the Global Ability Photography Challenge gave her the courage to share her art with the world. She believes it’s special for people with disabilities to have a platform to showcase their talent and unique view of life. For Lucy, this opportunity builds confidence and motivation to chase dreams like anyone else, and she hopes viewers feel the same emotions she experienced while capturing her photo.
