The Story behind the Shot:

Simron Raj is a deaf photographer from Chennai Tamil Nadu. He recalls “One beautiful morning, I visited the flower market. The light was stunning, casting a warm glow over everything! People and vendors bustled about, creating a vibrant atmosphere. I was so captivated by the lively scene that I couldn’t resist capturing the moment with my camera.” He has participated in many competitions but has found it challenging to gain recognition. But since this challenge is exclusively for individuals with disability, Simron was excited to take up this valuable opportunity to showcase the talents of people like him. He reflects, “it is a great opportunity for persons with disability to get the attention they deserve, while also motivating them to improve their photography skills!”
